93brand SHG Casual Gi Pants

These are hella comfy. I have a pair (A1L I believe), and I adore them. 5' 6" female, 165 lbs. I wash most of my clothing hot, so I size up or grab an L size when I can.

They're durable enough for things like labor or working outside, but comfy enough to wear around doing nothing.

Hyperlyte Jiu Jitsu Gi - Black/Mint

I accidentally placed 3 orders instead of 1 (clumsy fingers). I emailed customer service. Anything else I should do?

This looks beautiful! I'm not normally a fan of the colors and styles of blue gis, but I really like this one.

I missed the Do or Die ProComp shorts! NOOOO! Any chance they will be back in size 36 before rolling deals are over? Or any other grappling shorts planned?

What is ideal for 5'6" (with long legs, so I normally need a gi sized for 5'8") and 175 lbs?

93 Brand Strasse Gi

5' 7" female, long legs, shorter arms, wide hips. My pant soze tends to run 1 to 2 sizes larger than my top. What do you recommend?

Ooh! Really? Are they the old blue ones or new ones to match the green rash guard?

Get the A2. I am 5' 6" and 170, but with long legs. After a little shrinking, the A2 fits me perfectly, and is my favorite gi.

I have heard that black gis can be seen as "badass", abd I would guess a gi with the word "champ" on it would be seen the same way. If you have an easily offended crowd, a rather plain white gi is the best way to go. Can't ruffle feathers if there's nothing on it.

They are listed as sold out if they never had that size to begin with. Rolling deals often clean out excess sizes that were left over, so they don't often have a wide variety of sizes to choose from.

I think it would depend on whether you like a shorter fit or a longer fit since you fall into both. I, personally, if I were you, would go with the A2L and shrink accordingly.

I think it depends on how you like your fit. If you want it looser (or want to wash with heat), an A2 might be better. If you want it to be more fitted, an A1L is better.

I'm 5' 6" and about 180, and yeah, an A2 shrinks nicely.

This is my problem with all spats! I always order a size up or I feel like they're strangling me.

I would go A3. The A3L might be too tight. But it depends on your body size. If you're a skinny 215, maybe A3L, but if you're a more round 215, definitely A3.

It's a middle weight gi. There are lighter ones, but it's also not extremely heavy.

Pretty slippery. But more skin-tight and thinner than other spats I've worn. They seem to be made to wear under gi pants, rather than on their own.

DOorDIE Hyperlyte Bronze

It depends on the size, of course. They have a list on their website. This would be the Hyperlyte, so the A0 weighs 2.7 lbs, the A2 weighs 3.1 lbs, and the A4 weighs 3.6 lbs. This is the gi I use for comps personally. - http://www.hyperflybrand.com/collections/lyte-gis

A2. They shrink a bit. If you're planning on losing weight soon, go with the A2S and wash cold and hang dry until you do. I was the exact same height and weight, and A2 fit me perfectly.

1. They shrink, but if you cold wash hang dry, it shouldn't be too bad. They stretch back out a bit after you start rolling.

2. The ProComp is supposedly a more fitted gi, so the regular HyperLyte shouldn't be quite as fitted. However, I do not own a ProComp for comparison.

3. Go with the A2 or A2S for sure (I'd lean towards A2 because it's easier to shrink).

4. I'm not sure. Sorry.

A1. A2 will be way too long, and 93 Brand tends to be roomy. So A1 should be okay. Also, maybe A0H.
